Abstract

Poem - Entitled "Villanelle of Hope," this poem discusses the method of looking for a silver lining in depressing times in order to have gratitude for one's life and the opportunities in it. It was written on June 4th, 2020 while I was home in Allentown, PA in the midst of quarantine as well as the beginning of the Black Lives Matter movement that swept the country and world.
